Clarification:

The Floodplain tiles and shapefiles have been updated in 2016 as authorized by FEMA. The FEMA update did not include new tiles and shapefiles for the entire County of Summit. Some areas are to continue to reference the 2009 tiles and shapefiles. It is for this reason that we include both within our applications. To help users distinguish the two the 2009 shapefiles are hatched rather than solid like the 2016 shapefiles. If you are looking at a tile area that only has the hatched 2009 shapefile and no solid 2016 shapefile then most likely the 2009 shapefiles and tiles are the current FEMA approved references.
